Los Angeles County is considering a proposal that would ban kratom sales countywide, putting both natural kratom leaf and 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) at risk. Showing up in person matters.

• Arrive early to allow time for security and sign-in
• Sign up to speak using the kiosks or QR codes located inside and outside the hearing room
• When your name is called, approach the microphone and speak during public comment
• State your name and that you are opposing the kratom and 7-OH ban
• Keep remarks respectful and on topic
You do not need prior experience or prepared testimony. Personal stories and simple statements in support of regulation over prohibition are powerful.
