We are a group of industry members and passionate 7-OH users who have come together with a shared concern: the rise of misinformation and outrageous claims surrounding 7-Hydroxymitragynine (7-OH), also called 7-OHM, 7OH, 7-OHMG, and 7-HMG.

Determined to make a difference, we formed 7-HOPE Alliance – a unified effort to cut through the noise and bring clarity, integrity, and trust back to conversations about 7-OH. Jackie Subeck is a seasoned drug policy advocate who has spent over a decade at the forefront of cannabis reform with a focus on consumption lounges, and now 7-OH education. With years of experience mobilizing grassroots support and shaping regulatory frameworks, Jackie has become one of the leading voices calling for responsible access to 7-OH. She co-founded the 7-HOPE Alliance to unite advocates, industry leaders, researchers, and consumers around a shared mission: to promote transparency, safety, and science in this emerging field. Jackie’s career has been defined by a commitment to harm reduction and bridging the gap between policymakers and communities who need alternative tools to address chronic pain and opioid dependency.

Dr. Michele Ross, PhD, MBA

Scientific Advisor, 7-HOPE Alliance Neuroscientist, Author & Plant Medicine Advocate
Dr. Michele Ross is a neuropharmacologist, addiction expert, and best-selling author who has been at the cutting edge of plant-based therapies for over a decade. Her journey with 7-OH is both scientific and personal: after suffering a near-fatal pulmonary embolism from prescribed medications, she turned to natural alternatives like cannabis, mushrooms, and kratom to reclaim her health. Today, she brings that expertise and lived experience to her role at 7-HOPE, where she leads efforts to educate consumers, train healthcare professionals, and push forward scientific research on 7-OH. Dr. Ross is a powerful advocate for patient rights and responsible regulation, committed to ensuring that tools like 7-OH are understood, accessible, and safe.

Sgt. Terry Blevins (Ret.)

Law Enforcement Advisor, 7-HOPE Alliance Former Law Enforcement Officer & National Security Expert
Terry Blevins brings decades of experience in law enforcement, national security, and public safety to the 7-HOPE Alliance. He began his career in Arizona law enforcement, later serving in the U.S. Department of Defense and State Department, where he advised governments on counter-terrorism and critical infrastructure protection. Today, Terry leads Armaplex Security Group and is a national speaker with the Law Enforcement Action Partnership (LEAP), advocating for smarter, safer drug policies. At 7-HOPE, he champions common-sense regulation over prohibition, emphasizing that criminalizing plant-derived compounds like 7-OH only creates more harm. Terry believes strongly in education, self-regulation, and keeping 7-OH out of the shadows and in the hands of responsible adults.
